Playgroup Wonderland

It's been so long since we attended our local playgroup, I'd forgotten the real attraction of the place. I think the last time we went along Felix was a young baby and Angus, an emotionally charged three year old. As I recall, the whole experience completely put me off going back. Which is unfortunate, because for the past year or so, we've definitely been missing out.

Thinking about how little exposure Felix gets to groups of children, prompted me to make the comeback. Since the end of his four month stint in daycare last year, he really hasn't been around children other than friends or family. And at this version of a playgroup wonderland, it didn't take long for him to feel right at home. Angus had a ball too.

  6. Looks like a great play group. I have so many sad memories of very clicky play groups that I tried to be a part of but in the end had to step away & spend time with true friends! love these pics x

  7. That looks like such a great playgroup! I went to one today to try and meet some local mums in our new area and it was really good. I think they can be hard on children sometimes as it can be a bit of a free for all - but they certainly serve a purpose. Glad you had a good time. x

  8. Wow! That looks like awesome fun.

Somedays I regret working fulltime because I would love to take Amelie to a playgroup.

Being new to an area it would be an awesome way to meet some local Mums and judging by your pics awesome fun for the kids too.

  9. Wow, look at all those toys!! To be honest, I go to playgroup for me - to chat with the Mums! The fact that the kids get to play with other kids is purely a bonus - is that bad?!

  10. Do you know I have never actually gone to a play group. My poor deprived children :( It does look like it is a lot of fun and I always hear such great things from my girl friends who go. Sadly my little guys would be too big for it now. Glad you have a lovely time hun :) xx
