Easter Sunday

There is no doubt that today appeared to be all about Master Angus. We kicked off with an Easter egg hunt. Felix still too young to understand, or even care, was content to sit this year out. Such a treat to see the look of delight and surprise on Angus' face, with each treasure discovered. He moved with haste, darting back and forth, up and down, around and around. Until his basket was brimming with goodies. Celebrations like this are one of the best parts of being a parent.

In the afternoon, we wandered on down to the Family Show. Once again, the look of excitement and wonder in his eyes, kept us going for three whole hours, as we traipsed from ride to ride. Waited in queues. And waved enthusiastically from the sidelines. Who else in the world would we do this for? Having children is definitely a gas. Felix slept soundly in his pram, right through the action. But awoke refreshed and spry in time to charm his grandparents, when we stopped by for a visit on the way home. Plenty of highlights for our Easter Sunday, though my absolute favourite... watching my mini cowboy, perched atop of the sweetest, itty bitty pony. Good times.
