Feathered Friends

Last week we caught up with a dear sweet friend and her beautiful little lady. Something we try to do as often as possible. These play dates in this park are some of my favourite times. Olivia is four months younger than Felix and she loves my boys as much as they love her. I'm elated that she is going to be a big sister later this year, with her Mama expecting another babe. We had some exceptionally tame and extremely hungry companions in the playground with us, on this chilly, sunny morning. Angus has been feeding birds at Nana and Pop's place from a very young age. So he was only too happy to show the littlies the way. Sharing their biscuits and sandwiches with the "lolikeets" as they were calling them. Lovely, happy days.

  2. Lovely, I think that 'lolikeets' have been particularly hungry of late, I've seen plenty down low searching for food. What a fun thing for kids to da.

  5. How precious! I didn't realise they let you get so close to them.
Feeding the ducks at a nearby pond is always a highlight for us.

  7. I have such awesome memories of camping as a kid with handfuls of seed in each hand and rainbow lorrikeets all the way up both arms and sitting on my head. You photos just reminded me of that! You can see how proud Angus is to show the little ones how to do it - bless him xxx
